Advanced Firing Piece
|Adv. Firing Piece|
Possible Connections[edit | edit source]
Most things that can connect to the gauge-snake can also connect to any of the 5 non-front sides. Notably, Railgun Chargers cannot connect to it.
Ammo Input Feeders can also connect to those 5 sides, and will feed shells directly into the firing piece without need for Autoloaders – this is known as a "direct feed" cannon, and can be use to avoid the 8m shell-length cap, or to produce very compact cannons, possibly useful for light-AA purposes.
UI[edit | edit source]
Pressing Q while looking at the firing piece (or most connected components) will open the UI.

Limitations[edit | edit source]
Connecting to other firing pieces has no effect. If an Advanced Cannon component can connect to two different firing pieces, one will "steal" as many components as it can, so plan multi-gun Turrets accordingly.
